This class introduces students to the basic alignment and form of the postures, breath awareness, and yogic philosophy. Clear instruction, a supportive environment, and individual assistance will be given to all students. This class is for those new to yoga, or students wanting a basic class.
Gentle Yoga
This class combines gentle postures, stretching, and restorative poses. It is perfect for those seeking a slower pace, is new to yoga, or have physical concerns or injuries. Based on the Kripalu tradition of cultivating inner peace, this class is designed to revitalize your body, relax your mind, increase energy, and reduce stress. For beginners; people with back, joint, or heart problems, or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow
This is a vigorous class consisting of a continuous flow of postures. It provides students with the opportunity to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. Students should have knowledge of basic postures.
All Levels
This class offers a variety of poses, with different stages given to accommodate all level of students. Students from beginner through experienced will feel welcome and challenged in this eclectic class.
Yoga For Golfers
Desire concentration, firm stance, ease of motion in shoulders & hips while out on the golf course? Here is a vigorous workout that provides a continuous flow of yoga postures that will not only strengthen the body and enhance balance but will also increase your ability to focus by using your breath to train the mind -- whether you’re on the tee, in the fairway, hitting out of a sand trap, or on the greens. One, two or all three of these three-week sessions will most definitely have an impact on your score card.
1/2 & 1/2: Women on Weights & Core Stability Training
Strength training at any age, especially for women who may be experiencing menopause and perimenopausal symptoms, is key to building and maintaining bone density to ensure quality of life. Core stability will be honed through a variety of yoga and pilates postures.
Thai Yoga Massage
ThaiYoga is a yoga therapy modality based on the Northern style of traditional Thai bodywork which has evolved over many centuries in Thailand. This private session integrates therapeutic stretching, alignment principles, range-of-motion exercises, joint mobilization, assisted hatha yoga postures, acupressure and reflex point therapy, rhythmic palming techniques, deep tissue compression, pranayama (breath work), and energy balancing. When ThaiYoga techniques are used, the joints open, muscles and connective tissue stretch, internal organs tone, and vital energy is increased, resulting in a deep state of relaxation, rejuvenation and well-being. Clients should dress comfortably in sweat clothes or yoga attire. The entire session is conducted on the floor on a futon mat. Sessions last 1 ½ hours, but a longer session can be requested. All sessions are one-on-one.
